Who Are We?

Energy Broker Secrets was created by St. Clair Newbern IV and Paul Fershtand. Over the past two decades, we built one of the top energy brokerage firms in the country, Live Energy Inc.

During this time one of the things we always wished for was a place we could send individuals who wanted to get professional energy brokerage training so they could join our firm as independent energy brokers.

Finally, in 2019 we just decided to create a program ourselves.

Our program is designed to quickly get someone with no energy experience “phone ready”. That means getting them educated to the point where they can start making calls, which is the first step to building a book of business.

Our philosophy is that the initial training should be focused on precisely what is required to get started so that you can get started fast. We don’t waste time by over complicating things.

We’ll teach you what you need to know and won’t overwhelm you by trying to teach you everything about energy. It takes years to become a true energy expert, but it only takes a week to learn what you need to know to start your career in energy brokerage.

The idea is to start fast, then learn while you earn.

As you begin building your sales pipeline and you get into more complex conversations, we provide the support you’ll need to handle any prospect. This process allows you to continue learning and achieving success through 1:1 and group coaching.

Immediate placement after training.

After completing our program, you may choose to go into business on your own. But our hope is this program will also create a steady stream of independent energy brokers who will choose to partner with Live Energy.

We think it’s important for you to know that upon completion, you’ll have the skills required to join Live Energy as an energy broker. You will be able to make a smooth transition from training into a position with an established firm that can provide all the experience, tools and expertise you need to succeed.
